As winter settles in, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a season filled with music, generosity, and community at Charlotte Choir School. From early holiday traditions to joyful performances, the past few months have reminded us how meaningful it is to gather together in song and celebration.
This fall, our annual Greenery Sale once again brought the community together in support of our choristers. As wreaths and garlands adorned front doors brightening homes across the region, this cherished fundraiser set the tone for the season ahead. We are deeply grateful to everyone who ordered, shared, and helped make this year’s fundraiser such a fantastic success, selling over 500 items!
In December, the wonder continued with Tidings of Joy, our Christmas Concerts held December 12 and 13 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. All five choirs filled the space with beloved carols and seasonal favorites, creating evenings rich with warmth, tradition, and the unmistakable sound of young voices raised in celebration. For many, these concerts are a cherished holiday tradition—and we were honored to share them once again with a full and enthusiastic audience.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to invite our community to Serenade, Charlotte Choir School’s signature gala, on February 21, 2026, at The Collector’s Room by Beau Monde. This elegant evening offers a chance to honor our supporters, welcome new friends, and celebrate the impact of excellent, accessible choral education. Serenade is more than a gala—it’s a joyful gathering that helps ensure music continues to thrive for the next generation of singers. You can anticipate:
- Cocktail hour followed by a seated dinner
- Exclusive items + experiences in both the silent and live auctions
- Special performances from our MasterSingers
- The chance to connect with our Choir School community
All of us at Charlotte Choir School are grateful to have shared this special season with you. Your support and engagement make our work possible, and we look forward to celebrating together again soon.
