Tonight, we release the first of three videos in our fall Virtual Choir Project Series Feel the Spirit. The Tour Choirs have been hard at work preparing this performance of I Am The Gentle Light from composer Paul Mealor. You can watch from any device right here on our website, or watch on YouTube. Streaming is available at 7:30 p.m.

These online videos are an innovative way for us to provide performance opportunities to our singers. They also provide a new and unique challenge for singers used to ensemble singing.

“Virtual choirs require a different set of tools for our choristers,” Elizabeth Lenti said. “They’re challenged to sing individually, with the magic of a collective voice only revealed to everyone when the video is complete.”
