Charlotte Choir School Announces Spring Concerts and Discovery Night Auditions

Charlotte, NC — April 9, 2025 — Charlotte Choir School is excited to announce the start of ticket sales for its Voices of Spring concert, set for May 9 and 10, 2025, at 7:30 PM at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Uptown Charlotte. This concert will celebrate the season’s transformation with performances by the school’s talented children’s and youth choirs.

Under the direction of Artistic Director Elizabeth Lenti, Voices of Spring will showcase the exceptional talent and growth of the choristers who have thrived through the school’s renowned choral training. The performance will feature a range of choral works reflecting the season’s theme of renewal, joy, and the inspiring power of music.

Tickets for the concert are now available at charlottechoirschool.org and can be purchased up until the concert begins (availability permitting).

Charlotte Choir School is also hosting Discovery Night — Open House & Auditions on May 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM. This event provides an opportunity for children who will be in 1st through 8th grade for Fall 2025 (rising 1st through 8th grade students), and their parents, to learn more about the choir school’s programs.

The evening will begin with a performance by the Tour Choirs, followed by auditions with the artistic staff. While children audition, parents will hear from Director of Operations, Hunter Rigsby, who will share the school’s 32-year history and its impact on young singers in the community.

Discovery Night is a great opportunity for families to learn more about Charlotte Choir School and experience what it’s like to be part of the program. Auditions are open to all children interested in joining the choir for the upcoming season.
