Voices Raised in Celebration: Charlotte Choir School’s Beloved Christmas Concerts Return December 12 & 13

November 12, 2025 (CHARLOTTE, N.C.) — Charlotte Choir School proudly announces the return of its cherished holiday tradition, Tidings of Joy: A Christmas Concert, conducted by Artistic Director Elizabeth Lenti, on December 12 and 13 at 7:30 PM at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in the heart of Uptown Charlotte.

A hallmark of the city’s holiday season, Tidings of Joy gathers all five of Charlotte Choir School’s ensembles to fill St. Peter’s with harmonies, timeless carols, and the cheerful sound of young voices raised in song. For more than 30 years, this concert has invited audiences to pause, listen, and rediscover the wonder of the season.

Tickets for Tidings of Joy: A Christmas Concert are on sale now and can be purchased online at charlottechoirschool.org/concerts. Seating is limited, and this concert traditionally sells out—early reservations are encouraged.

“As our singers take the stage each December, you can feel the warmth of community and tradition,” says Artistic Director Elizabeth Lenti. “These concerts are a reminder that music has the power to connect us all—and that’s something worth celebrating.”

In addition to this season’s concert series, Charlotte Choir School invites the community to save the date for Serenade, the organization’s signature gala benefiting excellent, accessible arts education, held on February 21, 2026. This elegant event supports the choral program that has enriched more than 900 young lives across the Charlotte region. Learn more about Serenade at charlottechoirschool.org/serenade.
