Tickets Now on Sale for Charlotte Choir School’s Annual Christmas Concerts - Wonders of Winter - A Cherished Charlotte Tradition

November 13, 2024 (CHARLOTTE, N.C.) — Charlotte Choir School is thrilled to announce that tickets are now available for this year’s highly anticipated Christmas concert, Wonders of Winter: A Christmas Concert. This much-loved holiday performance, conducted by Artistic Director Elizabeth Lenti, will take place on December 13 and 14, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in the heart of Charlotte’s bustling Uptown.

Each year, families from across the Queen City look forward to Charlotte Choir School’s Christmas concerts as a hallmark of the holiday season. For many, attending this concert has become a cherished tradition to celebrate the joy of the season, while for the choristers, it represents the pinnacle of their year-long dedication and training. Wonders of Winter showcases the talents of Charlotte Choir School’s five distinct choirs of boys and girls, promising a night filled with festive music that captures the spirit and beauty of winter.

“The Christmas concert is truly a highlight of our year. It’s the performance our choristers eagerly work toward, knowing the joy it brings to the community with a variety of musical favorites, old and new,” said Andrew Pester, Associate Director of Charlotte Choir School. “We’re excited to welcome our Choir School community and beyond to this year’s Wonders of Winter, which is always a great beginning to the holiday season.”

The performance, set in the inspiring ambiance of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, offers attendees an unforgettable experience with traditional and modern selections that embody the wonder of the winter season. Families, friends, and music lovers alike are invited to join this two-night celebration of choral music and the holidays.

Additionally, Charlotte Choir School is pleased to announce that their annual fundraising gala, Serenade, will be held on February 22, 2025, at The Collector’s Room by Beau Monde in South End. The Serenade Gala supports the Choir School’s mission to provide choral training and music education to young singers in the Charlotte region and promises to be an elegant evening of music, community, and giving.
