Celebrating Three Years of Generosity: The 3&Me Campaign

For 33 years, Charlotte Choir School has been shaping young voices, nurturing confidence, and building a community through music. This year, we proudly celebrate the completion of our 3&Me Campaign: a three-year fundraising effort that honored an extraordinary commitment and strengthened opportunities for the choristers who make our program so special.

Over the past three years, supporters, families, alumni, and friends came together to help us reach an ambitious goal: raising $33,333 each March to match a generous $100,000 commitment from longtime supporters John Buric and Jeff Chandler. Their gift inspired a campaign built on celebration, storytelling, and shared investment in the lives of young singers.

Today, we are filled with gratitude for the community that made this campaign such a success.

A Legacy of Music and Impact

Since our founding more than three decades ago, the Charlotte Choir School has welcomed over 900 choristers into a musical journey that extends far beyond the rehearsal room. With five choirs and more than 500 performances, our students have had countless opportunities to grow as musicians and as individuals.

But what truly defines the program is the experience each chorister carries with them; lessons in teamwork, discipline, creativity, and joy.

Support from donors ensures that these opportunities remain accessible to all students, regardless of financial circumstances. Because of this generosity, choristers can fully participate in the life of the program, including one of the most transformative experiences we offer: Summer Tour.

The Lasting Impact of Summer Tour

Each year, many of our choristers take part in our Annual Domestic Tour, a special series of performances and travel experiences across the Southeastern United States. Our choristers get to explore the region we visit and perform daily, learning what it means to represent something larger than themselves.

For many singers, Summer Tour becomes a defining moment in their time with the Choir School. It’s where confidence grows, leadership emerges, and the power of music to connect people truly comes to life.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors through the 3&Me Campaign, financial barriers never have to stand in the way of a student who wants to participate.

Finishing Strong

As we close the final chapter of this three-year initiative, we are proud of what this community has accomplished together.

The 3&Me Campaign wasn’t just about reaching a fundraising goal—it was about celebrating the people who believe in the mission of the Charlotte Choir School and investing in the next generation of musicians and leaders.
