Charlotte Choir School Opens 2026–2027 Season with Annual Fall Concert, Kicks Off Holiday Greenery Sale

‍

September 16, 2026 (CHARLOTTE, N.C.) – Charlotte Choir School invites the community to ring in a new season of music on Friday, October 16, at 7:30 PM, when all five of its choirs take the stage for the Choir School's annual Fall Concert. The performance will once again be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Uptown Charlotte, bringing together singers ages seven to 18 for an evening that showcases a richly varied program built to feature the full range of what young voices can do.

For many families, the Fall Concert is the first glimpse of what a new season sounds like — a chance to hear how far younger voices have come and to watch the Choir School's oldest singers lead by example. Conducted by Elizabeth Lenti, Artistic Director of Charlotte Choir School, the program is designed to move audiences through the full range of what choral music can evoke, from quiet reverence to full-voiced celebration.

Tickets are on sale now at www.charlottechoirschool.org/concerts. A limited number will also be available at the door, based on availability.

Just under two weeks later, on September 28, Charlotte Choir School will open its parent-led Holiday Greenery Sale. This worthy fundraiser offers fresh wreaths and garland sourced from the North Carolina mountains, with select items shippable nationwide. Proceeds go directly toward keeping the School's music education accessible to families regardless of financial circumstance.

Shoppers are encouraged to order early in the season, as items are only available to order for a limited time. The full collection will be available at store.charlottechoirschool.org/collections/holiday-greenery.

From its founding in 1993, Charlotte Choir School has trained generations of young singers through rigorous instruction and meaningful performance opportunities.
